Well, this is true specially with yours truly Runner Rocky. I am enjoying what I'm doing specially the different fitness activities that I'm involved with leading me to a fit and healthy lifestyle. And inline with this, Taiwan Excellence has something for us! Are you ready?
Just this Tuesday afternoon, yours truly Runner Rocky took part in another Taiwan Excellence event. And this time, their event is more about fitness and healthy lifestyle which truly caught my interest. And yes, aside from fitness, they even had a contest that will lead you to a grand prize that will take you to Taiwan for free! Sounds more exciting right?!
And during the event, I even reunited with my co-fitness enthusiasts and Anytime Fitness mates Jay Gonzaga and Billy Jake Cortez - the actors from the current TV series "FPJ's Batang Quiapo" and the upcoming wattpad adaptation "I Love You Since 1892." Oh well without further ado, let me share our exciting stories during this said presscon of Taiwan Excellence. Here it goes:
‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ global contest by Taiwan—with grand prize of USD 30,000—partners with Anytime Fitness and Growth Circle International, calling for ideas on health & wellness!
Taiwan Excellence’s global contest for smart health and fitness solutions partners with the Growth Circle International (GCI) and Anytime Fitness for the nationwide call for entry proposals.
The initiative, titled ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan,’ calls for proposals to improve wellness needs in communities while applying Taiwan products, technologies, or business models. The six global finalists will be given the opportunity to visit Taiwan in an all-expense paid trip, where they will also defend their proposals. The top three global winners will be awarded USD 30,000 each.
‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ Press Conference
In the press conference announcing the partnership, held on July 29 at Anytime Fitness Araneta Quezon City, representatives of each institution were given the opportunity to express their support for the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ initiative.
Mr. Alex Lai—Director of Taiwan Trade Center, Manila (TTC)— welcomed everyone to the event with opening remarks and shared a message of appreciation to the supporting partners of the campaign. “On behalf of Taiwan Trade Center, Manila, it is with great pride and thanks that I express my appreciation to Anytime Fitness and Growth Circle International for working with us on the "Go Healthy with Taiwan" campaign. We believe that by working together, we can make a real difference and help more people live better lives, not only here, but around the world.”
Mr. Mark de Joya—Chief Operating Officer of Anytime Fitness Asia—then spoke on the benefits of entering the proposal contest, noting the one-month free gym membership offered to their member participants. "We, at Anytime Fitness, are proud to support the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ initiative with Taiwan Excellence. As a brand committed to making healthy happen, we’re excited to offer Filipinos greater access to innovative fitness through Taiwan technology. We encourage Filipinos to join the initiative, that’s why we are giving away one-month of free membership to those who join the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan’ proposal contest."
