Runner Rocky Supports "Baby on Track" to Save Baby Shaila

Have you already heard of a disease called "Biliary Atresia?" Biliary Atresia is actually a rare disease of the liver and bile ducts that occurs in infants. Research said that the symptoms of the disease appear or develop about two to eight weeks after birth. Cells within the liver produce liquid called bile. And bile helps to digest fat. 

Baby Shaila Micaella Castell or Baby Shaila, a 9 month old Miracle Baby suffers from this type of rare disease. She needs to have a Liver Transplant at the soonest possible time before her 1st birthday this July. Therefore the running team Pinoy Aspiring Runners (PAR) organized a charity run dubbed as "Baby on Track."

“Baby On Track” aims to raise funds and awareness to save the life of Baby Shaila. The running event will be on June 26, 2016 at the CCP. The proceeds of this race will go to the funds for the operation of Baby Shaila. The procedure will cost at about 4.5 million. So participation of this running event will be a great help to the baby!

3K – Php 450

5K – Php 550

10K – Php 650

1. Mixed distance will get one (1) lowest distance FREE except barefoot category.

2. For minimum of 10 registrants of different categories, you will get P50 off per kit.

3. 10 + 1 for same distance

4. Team/Company/Organization with at least 50 registrants will get 1 tent and a plaque of appreciation.

5. Barefoot category will have a special prize to the first barefoot runner who will cross the finish line.
