Sports Meets Service
TopBreed and the UP Men’s Basketball Team (UPMBT) are teaming up for Paws & Purpose Pet Wellness Day, a unique initiative that blends sportsmanship, service, and pet care. This year’s collaboration takes on a deeper meaning: giving back to the pet community.
On August 29, 2026, at Kamia Hall, UP Diliman, TopBreed, UPMBT, and UP Friends of Campus Animals (UP FOCA) will host a day dedicated to responsible pet ownership and wellness.
Wellness for Every Pet
Around 100 pet owners from the UP community will gain access to vital services such as vaccinations, microchipping, spay-and-neuter procedures, and veterinary consultations.
The event also promises fun and bonding through pet games, grooming services, product sampling, loot bags, photo booths, raffles, and exclusive merchandise—making it a celebration for both pets and their humans.
Love & Care in Action
At the core of Paws & Purpose is TopBreed’s “Top Love & Care”, a philosophy that emphasizes nutrition and holistic wellness as the foundation of responsible pet ownership.
For UPMBT, the initiative is a chance to extend its influence beyond the basketball court—bringing athletes closer to the community through a shared love for pets.
