CloudFone and NBA 3X Philippines 2016: An Action-Packed Partnership

Runner Rocky once more took part in another basketball event. This time, it's for the NBA 3X Philippines 2016.

Day after covering the Global Hoops 2016 Street Ball competition in the SM Mall of Asia Arena, yours truly then witnessed the partnership of NBA 3X Philippines 2016 and the CloudFone, a smartphone best known for its high-performing yet reasonably priced range. CloudFone is also proud of its many partnerships, which include being the official mobile phone partner of the NBA. 

CloudFone is extremely proud to take part in events like the NBA 3X as part of its ongoing commitment to bringing awesome experiences more accessible to Filipinos. 


Playing for Team CloudFone were Vince Hizon, Dominic Uy, Fabio Ide, and Jinno Rufino. 

Held last August 19-21 at the SM Mall of Asia, the event included highlights such as the special CloudFone Meet & Greet with 2013-14 NBA Rookie of the Year Michael Carter-Williams of the Milwaukee Bucks. 

Another important highlight of the event was the exciting competitive 3-on-3 tournament, with several divisions for boys, girls and an invitation-only Celebrity Division. 

Playing for Team CloudFone were Vince Hizon, Dominic Uy, Fabio Ide, and Jinno Rufino. Putting the "a" in awesome, all celebrity athletes put on a great show, making it all the way to the finals as one of the teams to beat. In spite of having fallen a tad short to win the coveted championship crown, fans ecstatically supported the cool team members of Team CloudFone throughout the tournament. 

Because of the excitement brought about by the 3-on-3 tournament, even more celebrities have taken an interest in being part of Team CloudFone, which has become as awesome as the brand's bestselling phones, prompting them to promise a major comeback in the next event..
